State-financed treatment
 
 
 
 

   State-financed treatment is provided for the persons, who have the compulsory health insurance (Law of the Republic of Lithuania about health insurance № I-1343 of 21 May, 1996 and Law of the Republic of Lithuania about alteration of the Law about health insurance № IX-1219 of 03 December, 2002).

   The following health care services are paid from the budget of the compulsory health insurance fund:

   preventive (prophylactic) medical aid, medical aid, medical rehabilitation, nursing, social services and attendance, attributed to the personal health care, and expertise of the person’s health.
